Mid Coast Maine Lighthouse Day Trip

Join Portsmouth Naval Shipyard MWR on Saturday, July 17 for a Mid Coast Maine Lighthouse Day Trip to see three lighthouses. We leave at 8 a.m. and the first stop is Marshall Point Lighthouse in Port Clyde where the movie Forest Gump was partly filmed. There is a museum and store to checkout. Next, we head to the Owls Head Lighthouse for a lunch stop with great views. Last is the Rockland Breakwater for a walk on the breakwater (rocks - weather permitting) to the lighthouse. On the way home we will stop by Moody's Diner returning back by 7 p.m.

The cost to participate is $25 and includes van transportation. Food is on your own. Sign up at the ITT building or call 207-438-2713.
