Chincoteague Day Trip

On Saturday, July 18 from 8 AM to 8 PM, join NAS Oceana & Dam Neck MWR Liberty for a perfect day on Chincoteague Island. We will begin our morning at the farmers market, where local growers and island makers gather to share the best of the Eastern Shore. From there, we will take to the water for a kayaking adventure through the serene tidal channels and salt marshes with a chance to see the island’s famous wild ponies.

After a morning on the water, we will head to Pico Taqueria for lunch and will cap the afternoon off by stopping by the legendary Island Creamery for ice cream. Transportation and kayaking will be provided. Make sure to bring money, a change of clothes, and water shoes. This trip is for active duty E-1 to E-6 only. Registration is required.
