Go Rec Rental is by appointment only and will not accept walk-ins.
To rent items please click the reservation link listed under website. Reservations must be made through a computer, the system is not compatible with phones or tablets. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance from pick up date, with payment required at the time of booking. Equipment is available to be picked up on Thursday or Friday and returned on Monday or Tuesday ONLY between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Patrons will only be charged for a one day fee regardless of what day they pick up/return equipment.
Command reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance and require approval from the MWR Director and Naval Station Newport Commanding Officer.
Equipment is inspected at pick up and upon return. Customers are responsible for repair or replacement cost of equipment that is damaged or lost. NOTE - Customers must notify attendant of any unacceptable condition at check-out, or accept responsibility for condition upon return. Equipment must be returned clean. Minimum $15 cleaning/repacking fee for rental items that are returned dirty/not repacked as originally rented.
This MWR facility is open to Active Duty personnel, Reservists, Retirees, Dependents, Veterans, DoD civilians, and Contractors with valid ID & base access. MWR has gone cashless, all major credit cards are accepted.
